Hi, I’m Hatty been a long time lurker here.
I can’t tell you how grateful I was when someone ID-ed the Lobe track Placebo, I had been searching for that since hearing it as we walked towards the chill out at the first ever Glade festival just as the sun came up – I was beginning to think I had imagined it and a quick visit to Discogs had the CD arriving.
I have watched Ideal since Series 1, watched it initially in a recognition sort of way, from having friends whose doorbells never stopped ringing as a trail of eccentrics and not so eccentrics came by for tea and abstract conversation. Over time I have watched it develop into something amazing, there really is nothing like it – a program that has both a dark side and the next minute has me in tears laughing. I really admire Graham for not taking the easy route and for challenging a few boundaries and throwing in many surprises.
So, please don't put me in the skip in the spring clean
