I think the ones definately returning will be:

Moz, Jenny, Brian, Colin, Carmel, Paul, Steve, Xavier (and possibly the chair!), CH, Judith, PC, Derek, Yoko.

The ones that are maybes:

Nikki - Is there any point to her now? I'd like her to stay but might not happen.
Rainbow - Probably a couple of brief cameos.
Fist - I like the character but I think now that we know who he is, he might dissappear.
Carol and Keith - With Moz having new neighbours according to Grahams synopsis, will they be leaving the flat? Also Moz hasn't been in the country for 8 months so they may have moved to a different area.

yh but there probilly only base it like its been a few days since the last series bit like jen in her coma

funny thing is when u watch the series back it looks like moz has got some mad weird weight loss diease lol

Series 6 is set 8 months after the end of Series 5 according to Graham Duff.

& I guess the Torrents are mislabeled S3 E6 maybee, or don't exist at all ... there are no seeders/ [I don't use torrent so not sure about all the ins & outs]

The torrents look like exceedingly dodgy sources. Fake torrents aren't at all unusual, and are often quite malign plants.
The DVD is hopefully a just a mistake, either by HMV, or due to a 2 Entertain miscommunication. It seems highly unlikely for an 8 episode series to be squeezed onto a single DVD, and it would also signal an uncharacteristically 'vanilla' release, where Graham usually seems to spend as much time in getting the DVD ready, as the series.
Maybe if series 6 is getting a release later in the year, they've just inadvertently revealed the broadcast date, it being two weeks after HMV's supposed 'series 5' release date (or vice versa?).

I've been using an awful lot of torrents recently and there is no way that is real.

As for the DVD, I agree that it must be a mistake or it's just been put there temporarily, I can't imagine Graham breaking his trend of taking a long time to make the DVDs the best he can.

If anyone is looking for torrents of Ideal I would suggest www.demonoid.com, all the seasons are there and are the real deal, if anyone needs an invite to the site let me know.....

A lot of torrents of Ideal have mis-numbered episodes. Even scene release DVDRips are mis-numbered. The only torrents that I can say for sure are numbered correctly are the two I uploaded. One is series 1-4 XviD DVDRip and the other is series 5 XviD TVRip. You can find them on demonoid and the pirate bay. I uploaded them to demonoid under the username finkleroy and the pirate bay under the username bongboy.

Of course, this only pertains to series 1-5, and I only recommend downloading them if you live outside region 2 and don't have a region-free DVD player which plays PAL. I'd gladly buy all the seasons if I had a way of playing them, especially considering the insanely cheap prices at amazon.co.uk.

On both the HMV and Amazon websites it says Series 5 is due for release 19th July so I think that could be right.  The one HMV got wrong was saying Series 6 was due for release on 2nd August, I think that must be when it will be shown on tv it seems a reasonable gap.  Obviously I don't know this for sure they might even wait until September when most people are back off holiday or at least the ones with children who are limited to the school holidays.   We've waited this long its getting closer anyhow
