The song playing while Moz is jumping on his bed is "I Can't Wait" by Brassy. Can anyone identify the first song Kuldip played as DJ in this episode? It's a fairly long section of music and starts right after China's friend Asia arrives with a bloke who hands Moz an empty beer can and they exchange words. This song is playing while they show people dancing until Nicki asks PC to take his coat off. Some of the lyrics sound like this: Don't stop, get funky (refrain) ... Beatnik brothers gonna break the band ... swimming in the ocean ... Hands in the air
Well, the lyrics sound like that to me anyway. They could easily be different and some are missing.
Thanks Mike

I haven't managed to track that one down yet, I'll have another go when I get a min. Mr Duff will sort us out if we get stuck but I beleive he's a bit busy at the moment finishing scripts for filming.

& something about walking a tightrope

That's a good take on the refrain Gangster boogie on a oneway track ? could be, could be, sadly it doesn't help me get a search match to lyrics anywhere Hope it's not so obscure I can't get it if it is identified. Is Kuldip's "white album" collection for sale somewhere?

& a big welcome to the forum McQ, put on some tunes and make yourself at home. I found my way here looking for info on the music and I'm guessing you did too.

You could try the old Shazam, but it doesn't know half the stuff I play (my trial is over, so I can't try it). It's as said s1e6, the first tune heard after Kuldip starts his set.
